Bonus Q&A

Why do escorts play music during bookings?

  • The most important reason is to drown out background noise. I currently work in the heart of Auckland CBD, which means people beep their horn or get into accidents (cue firetruck and police sirens). Both of these noises, no matter how subtle, are alarming and will disrupt the flow of a booking. In a parlour or agency, music is essential. Agencies and parlours have people coming and going and people cumming and going. You do not want to hear that. If you've ever asked an escort, to turn it her music down and she refuses, there is likely someone or something very noisy nearby that you haven't noticed.

  • It helps let us know what time it is. A lot of escorts use music to time bookings whether it be a certain song that means it's time for a client to shower or counting how many songs have played to know how much time has passed. If you look at a clock, clients think you are trying to rush them out or are not enjoying your time with them. Escorts need to know or estimate what time it is so they can pace the booking. If you can only cum once in an hour, it's important that that is at the end of the booking, not halfway through!

  • Silence is deafening. Every now and again, there will be a client that is difficult to converse with and silence amplifies the awkwardness.

  • Lastly, the most obvious: it sets the mood. Music can amplify or create emotion which is exactly what escorts aim to do. To get in the mood before bookings, I'm usually blasting music and dancing around.

Have any awkward songs played during your bookings?

Unfortunately, yes. Sometimes we try to change it up by playing a new playlist (without listening to the whole playlist - rookie mistake) or play a radio station. The most awkward and horrifying song would have been Nicki Minaj's song, "Stupid hoe". Here are the lyrics for your entertainment and my embarrassment:

"You a stupid hoe, you a you a stupid hoe
You a stupid hoe, you a you a stupid hoe
You a stupid hoe, you a you a stupid hoe
You a stupid hoe, yeah you a you a stupid hoe
You a stupid hoe, you a you a stupid hoe
You a stupid hoe, you a you a stupid hoe
You a stupid hoe, you a you a stupid hoe
You a stupid hoe, yeah you a you a stupid hoe"

Another awkward moment was when I told a client I loved a particular song on my playlist. We decided to look up the lyrics and found it was very popular to play during funerals. Oops.

Tips for playing music during sex:

  • Some songs have a quiet intro or outro. Get rid of these or put them at the start or end of your playlist. If you have them in the middle of your playlist, it will sound like the music has suddenly turned off and it can be distracting.

  • Make sure you listen to each song in its entirety so you know what is in it or google the lyrics. Avoid swear words, voice overs, offensive lyrics, vulgar lyrics, very obvious break up songs and songs with alarming sounds added in (sirens, car crashes, phones ringing, text message tones etc.).

  • Make sure the music isn't too loud, it's supposed to be background music. Clients want to talk to you and get to know you, having loud music makes it more difficult to hear and you don't want to be half yelling in a conversation. It's not relaxing. Imagine being in an elevator with the music turned up too loud!

  • Clients are generally older so keep that in mind when choosing music.

I hope you enjoy my playlist! It's just under an hour long so it's perfect for a one hour booking.

Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
