I believe in being fully present, whether it’s in conversation, a moment of relaxation, or time spent with someone special. I’m organised but not rigid—planning and being prepared are important to me, but I also embrace the unexpected and enjoy the journey. I’m a woman of many layers, with a deep appreciation for both meaningful connections and lighthearted moments.

Little Tidbits and Quirks
I butcher recipes so much I’m making a cookbook
I love rewriting recipes to make them my own and I rarely follow a recipe exactly as written. My notes app is a chaotic mix of tweaks, from adding new ingredients to adjusting sugar levels. To stay organised, I’ve started printing out my favourite recipes with an equipment list, timing guidelines, visual cues, and tips to avoid common mistakes. What starts as a one-page recipe can easily turn into four. One day, I plan to gift these recipes to friends and family.
I’m a novice chocolatier
I took a chocolate-making course a while ago, so when pistachio chocolates from Dubai became popular online, I knew I could make them from scratch. I process the pistachios myself, use Whittaker’s caramelised white chocolate and handmade shredded filo for a perfect crunch. Showing up to a birthday party with a box of Twinkie-sized pistachio chocolates is always a hit. Next on my list? Biscoff or bueno chocolates. I’m waiting for the opportunity to present itself.
Wishlist
26cm azure Le Creuset cast iron round skillet. This pan will forever be on my Wishlist because I have to justify a $400 pan.
Being hangry makes me ultra-organised
As a hangry person, eating dinner on time is a must. People always seem to gather around when I cook—chatting, snacking on ingredients, and distracting me. To stay on track, I add timestamps to my recipes. It keeps me organised and makes sure dinner is ready at 6:45pm so we can eat at 7pm. It makes cooking way more relaxed.
I exercise for 1 hour everyday
I make it a point to walk for at least an hour every evening. It helps unwind and relax, and hitting 10,000 steps is a priority. This time clears the mind, often spent watching YouTube, listening to a podcast, or watching a movie while walking. It’s a great way to wind down and ensures I’ll sleep well.
I have a Google spreadsheet for all my friends' & family's birthdays
Complete with a script that creates multiple calendar events to remind me one month, two weeks, and one week etc. in advance giving me time to thoughtfully observe their current interests and likes. Since I journal every day, I can easily recall past conversations and pick the perfect gift accordingly. After all, it’s the thought that counts.
